According to the needs of my client, I may incorporate more than one technique in a massage session.....some of which are:
Full body massage designed to relax and reduce stress
Deep abdominal work for lower back issues - painless
Enables release of "pain-spasm-pain" cycle
Process using resistance for muscle elongation
Loosening and separation of network of connective tissue surrounding muscles to enable smoother movement of muscles
Use of Essential Oils to enhance the treatment
Very light touch to stimulate the flow of lymph and help the immune system, helps decrease acute swelling
Body Wraps
~ 90 min.......$110
Mix of herbs steeped in hot water, then dipped in Jojoba oil and rubbed onto exfoliated skin. Client is then wrapped and allowed to absorb the beneficial action of the herbs. Followed by swedish massage.
Removal of dry, flakey skin using dry brush (also stimulates lymph flow), then followed by application of Jojoba oil. Client is wrapped and allowed to absorb the oil while relaxing with a head massage. Followed by swedish massage.
Use of an Essential Oil mixed with Jojoba oil, and applied to exfoliated body. Client is then wrapped, and enjoys the benefits of the aromatherapy. Followed by swedish massage.
Paraffin Treatments
feet, hands, elbows, shoulders - $10 each
Foot Exfoliation and Rehydration - $40
(incorporated into a 60 or 90 minute massage - $25)
